Philippa's Life Update!!

Hey there!!
Okay so we know we haven't been posting an awful lot on here but we find it easier to talk about our lives to a camera rather than type it up but it's nice to have a change every once in awhile!!  So, as you can tell by the title of this post.. this is my life update!!

The last time I wrote a blog I discussed our work experience and our Duke of Edinburgh Award walk.. Happy days ;D
Since then we've had our #SummerShakeUp on YouTube!! All your support was and still is so very muchly appreciated!! Just because Summer's over that doesn't mean our videos aren't up.. Okayy!!! So, Summer was GRRRRRREAT!!! we had a fab time together, and with our families, but now it's back to school time for us!! :( MEH!!!
A positive about school is, we see each other ALL the time!! YAYY!!!
The negative about school is, THERE ARE TOO MANY GERMS!! AND I'M ALREADY ILL!!! NOOOOOOOOO!!!
Another positive is, I get new stationary!! WHOOO-HOOO!!! That excites me A LOT A LOT!! :D
And another negative is, I have A LOT of work to do!! :(
But, always finding positives in the negatives is what keeps us going, so to me going back is a whole new fresh start, forget about last year and all the times negative feelings got the better of me, when my confidence was holding me back from taking chances, when i thought "being cool" was gonna get me the grades.. I was wrong!!
If there's one thing I could change about last year it would be to have done the opposite of the above!! Oops!!
But never mind, it's in the past.. This year I'm already improving in a lot of my lessons and my teachers are noticing!! THANK GOD!!!
Luckily for me, most of my current classes have 20 or less students in them, which means it's easier to get the teachers attention and it means my arms won't be two hanging frubes either side of my body!! ahaha!!
Also going back to a new year, I've decided I'm going to participate in as many things as I possibly can with my friends and fellow classmates as I can, as this could be the last year of school I ever have with some if not most of them (I hope not most of them).. I honestly do think my year at school is the most adorable and sweetest year there is and ever has been ever!! Everyone has a heart of gold and always shows their true colours!! BEAUTIFUL!!!
And so, participating in the school musical 'Grease' seemed like a pretty fun idea!! Also today I was cast as a Pink Lady!! SNAZZY!!!
I always get super duper excited about our school productions as I enjoy acting and performing!! :D
And that's all that's really happened since our last blog post, I hope this has enlightened you on our back to school experience so far!! :D

I have SOOOOO many video ideas ready and listed for you guys and so I hope they will be recorded and uploaded in the next few weeks! ALSO!!! we have 143 Subscribers!! so if you haven't subscribed to our channel yet please do because when we hit 150 subscribers we'll be uploading a super special video of a behind the scenes to our channel type of thing and basically why we started the channel, where we got our name and so on..

Duke of Edinburgh!!

Hey,
So We've just finished our week of work experience, it's been a blast!!
It wasn't as awkward as we thought it'd be.. we enjoyed ourselves way too much!! Haha!! :D
So we spent the week with year 8 at our school, we learnt all sorts of new skills and made a few new friends along the way!! On day 2 which was Tuesday, we were responsible for laminating a few logos for each team.. BAD IDEA!! Rhiannon had gone to collect some more logos from the other rooms and left me by myself.. let's just say it took myself and two members of staff to get the logos out........ Oops!!
So, as you can tell by the title work experience has nothing to do with the Duke of Edinburgh.. but Tomorrow morning we're leaving our homes to walk the Duke of Edinburgh expedition in the scorching hot weather.. YAYY!! This time WE ARE CAMPING!!!! WHOOP!!! I think we're more excited about camping than anything else haha!!
But the group we're walking with are awesome so that probably explains why we have a feeling it'll be good!! Also Rhiannon and I have come out of our comfort zones recently and have gotten to know more people in our year, it was a lot easier than we thought it'd be it was literally just a matter of asking how their week had been.. wow!!
I'm proud we have done so and can enjoy our experience that little bit more.

Work Experience Week!!

We're so weird!! So from Monday to Friday next week we're spending our week on work experience together, whilst everybody else is spending their week by themselves in a whole new working environment We're spending our week together at school!! That's Right!! We both decided we wanted to go to a high school and the teachers knew we were having trouble finding a high school in our area that would take us due to our age and so decided we could stay with them and work with year 8.  This is SUPER awkward for Philippa as her ex boyfriend is in that year, she and her ex were together a good year or so and now eye contact is a no go :L so hopefully this week will run smoothly and we both have a great week!!  On Wednesday we'll be visiting Chester Zoo which should be super fun because we ABSOLUTELY love outings and Zoo's are great big fat YES from us!!

Definitely looking forward to this week, we'll keep you guys updated every evening to make sure you don't miss anything!!

So today is the first day of our blog!!
We wanna say Hi our names are Philippa and Rhiannon, together we run a youtube channel that goes by the name of JellyTotShakesX.  We decided we'd set-up this blog after a close friend of ours told us how much she enjoys writing hers.  As you can tell this is only a small introduction because we're not very good at writing speeches ;)
